The drum that Harlan’s been bringing to all of the Allen Americans hockey games is officially dead, so we decided to give it to the players last night. We all signed it and presented it to Justin Bowers.

It says “Allen Americans Inaugural Season Drum” and is signed by Jon, Brenda, Harlan, and myself.

I just realized while posting this that it’s actually pretty fitting that we presented it to Bowers. He scored the first goal at the AEC. First drum…first goal scorer.
