It needs an external tuner. I could buy an external tuner for $100-200 or get a new TV for ~$600. Bank of America recently sent me a $100 gift card to Amazon, so I'd only have to pay $100 or so if I can sell my TV w/TiVo for $400. I can't ditch the TV completely. There's a couple of shows I like, plus I still watch movies. That and a couple of friends come over on Mondays for "Sci-Fi Night". We're going through the entire Farscape and Stargate series.
